Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Neosha! I just got back from a trip with my Mom for her milestone birthday, too! We did the Behind the Seeds 1 hour tour and Mom absolutely adored it. That’s a great idea for y’all, too!
Mom and I also made a reservation at the
Garden View Tea Room at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, where we had high tea and scones, topped off with a swan shaped cream puff! It was delicate and decadent and a perfect size and sure to please all the ladies in your party. We also made our way to
Magic Kingdom early that same morning, where before 10:30am, you can typically find the Horse and Trolley making one way trips from the Main Street, U.S.A. railway station to Cinderella Castle. It’s a fabulous way to feel special and rest your feet as you enter the park for the day! And of course, you should grab a Birthday button at the front desk of your Walt Disney World Resort hotel or a park ticket window. This small item will glean birthday wishes and perhaps some pixie dust all day long!
Lastly, I would recommend a nice dinner at a signature restaurant like
Jiko. You’ll have fabulous dishes like the salad grown in Epcot’s land pavilion, as well as fantastic wine options and dinner entrees that are one of a kind. It’s a great grown up way to top off your trip! Let me know what else I can help you with, and a very happy UNbirthday to you as you plan! ~ Lindsey P.
