Ahoy Rebecca, and welcome to planDisney! Sounds like your sister has rounded out your pirate crew for your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation. I enjoy cruising with my sister as well, and you will often find us together in
Cove Café or one of the other
adult-exclusive areas.
Disney Cruise Line's
alcohol policy states that each Guest 21 years and older can bring a maximum of 2 bottles of unopened wine or champagne (no larger than 750 ml) on board at the beginning of their cruise and at each port of call. Your wine must be in your carry-on bag and not your checked luggage. Please note that there is a corking fee of $27 per bottle (subject to change) if you bring your bottle into one of the dining rooms.
If you change your mind about bringing wine on board, you can buy it by the glass in restaurants, nightclubs, and lounges. There are also
wine packages that you can purchase in advance of your sailing or during dinner in the
rotational dining restaurants. I also like to reserve one of the
beverage tastings for an additional fee to try something new. I always learn something new from the Disney Cruise Line Beverage Team about wine and spirits such as tequila, whiskey, and champagne.
If you have any other questions, sail back to us at
planDisney, Rebecca. We are here to help!
Cheers!
