    My sister and I are surprising my 6 year old niece with a trip to Disney World in Florida for her 7th birthday in July. Any ideas on how to make the stay extra special since there will probably still be restrictions due to Covid?

Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel can surprise a loved one with an in-room celebration! Disney Floral & Gifts can help you create memories you will cherish forever with a gorgeous gift or celebration basket. Contact a Dream Maker Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST by calling (407) 939-4438 and they will be glad to assist you!

    Have you also considered purchasing a special MagicBand in advance for your niece? My baby daughter will be visiting for the first time this year and I have already purchased a First Visit MagicBand. Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel are welcome to purchase MagicBands at pre-arrival prices, and I noticed that birthday MagicBands are sometimes available. To order a MagicBand at pre-arrival prices, sign in to your Disney account and visit My MagicBands and Cards, or visit shopDisney.com if you are staying off-site. Another great idea is ordering a Mickey Mouse Celebration Specialty Cake. Cakes can be arranged for Guests with reservations at participating table-service restaurants and can feed 4 to 6 people. The cakes are so cute and delicious, and I just love how you can have a special message of “Happy Birthday” on the chocolate ears. To add extra pixie dust to your niece’s celebration, stop by any Guest Relations or Front Desk location to request a complimentary "Happy Birthday" button. This is a great way to let everybody know you are celebrating!
