Greetings, Space Ranger, and welcome to planDisney! We are thrilled that you have journeyed to our part of the galaxy. As always, we are here to help!
I did visit the
Disneyland Resort shortly after getting married, I too had a reservation linked to my new last name and an ID that had my maiden name. I was very worried to say the least. Fortunately, my new ID arrived on time so I didn’t have to worry too much.
Jaycob, the good thing is, the only name that truly matters is the name of the person who purchased the
tickets. It does sound like your sister is the one who purchased them, so she would be the person who would need to show her government issued ID, and the credit card used, to claim the
ticket cards. Everyone else's names, in
My Disney Experience, are purely cosmetic and would not be considered for identification.
Again, as long as your wife isn’t the one who purchased the tickets, she will be just fine when it comes to
visiting later this week. I hope you all have the most magical trip. Please
let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help.
Remember to always go To Infinity & Beyond!
