My sister & I are running the Wine & Dine Half & the 5K in November. I was hoping for some advice for visiting the parks-pre or post race. We ran Princess last Feb & did parks after, but didn't know if we should change tactics due to it b

    Hi, Jennifer!

How exciting you will be participating in both the 5k and half marathon events during the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend. These events are sure to be an amazing runners' morning and night out!

When trying to decide between hitting the parks pre or post-race, it's always recommended to enjoy the "cation" portion of your racecation after you have run, especially since you will be participating in two running events in one day. In addition, the finish-line party at Epcot® is something you won't want to miss out on. Having three events is going to make for a very long day, and conserving energy before your race will be key to having an enjoyable experience. I hope this information is useful in helping you decide when to get in your theme park time, Jennifer. Please let me know if you have any additional questions regarding the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon or any runDisney event.

    Cheers to your race accomplishment!
