My sister and I are running in the Food and Wine Half Marathon in November. I booked with my DVC points (not runDisney) to stay at AKV. We are formally registered for the race, but how do I let the organizers know to expect us on the bus from AKV?

Hi Melissa!  The Wine and Dine half marathon is my favorite runDisney event!  You and your sister are going to love it!

The Animal Kingdom Lodge is a host resort for the Wine and Dine.  The runDisney buses will only run from the main resort entrance.  You can either drive yourself up to that entrance, take one of the resort buses that go between the two, or walk on the sidewalk.  The distance is about a half a mile between the two.

I hope this helps!  Animal Kingdom Lodge is such an awesome resort!  Have a great time at Disney, good luck at the race, and please let me know if you have any other questions!
