Hey there, Nicole, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question. Congratulations on becoming a travel agent! It’s extremely rewarding to help others craft such special adventures and play a small part in amazing memories.
Nicole, it sounds like your sister has reserved one (or more)
Disney Vacation Packages through her Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. When adding Guests to Vacation Package reservations, the new Guest must have the same package as everyone else on the room reservation. Simply put, you would not be able to purchase Theme Park Tickets on your own and then be added to an existing reservation. Because once you are added to the existing reservation, it would force you to purchase Theme Park Tickets again to mirror the package of the current reservation. Whew, I hope that makes sense! So in this instance, I believe only her original travel agent would be able to successfully add you to their existing room reservation.
Nicole, if you are looking to simply link your reservation with your sister’s reservation (staying in your own resort room), you can utilize the
My Disney Experience Family & Friends List! The Family & Friends list will allow you and your sister to coordinate plans like Genie+ attraction reservations, dining reservations, Disney PhotoPass images, and much more! You can manage your Family & Friends List from your My Disney Experience Account or the mobile app.
I hope this helps, Nicole! If you still have questions,
please stop back by and let me know!
You’ve got a friend in me,
PG
