My sister and I are registering for the Disneyland half marathon weekend tomorrow! I don't think we're planning on actually going to the parks but what are some good restaurants to check out without park tickets?

    Hi, Tami!

What a fun question! Some of my favorite Disneyland® Resort dining locations are outside of the theme parks! Here are some suggestions:

Napa Rose at Disney's Grand Californian Resort & Spa - I know this would be considered a treat meal due to cost, but if it works into your budget, this sophisticated locale with its seasonal, California-inspired cuisine is the perfect way to celebrate your running accomplishment.
Storytellers Cafe at Disney's Grand Californian Resort & Spa - I love this rustic locations lunch menu! The Cobb Salad is great and the Robusto Flatbread is truly unique.
    • Tangaroa Terrace at The Disneyland® Hotel - Nestled in the middle of the grounds of the Disneyland Hotel, paradise is found! You have to try the Kalua-style Pork Flatbread or the Hawaiian Cheeseburger.
Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen® in the Downtown Disney District -  Ok, if you want an amazing dessert, get the Double Chocolate Bread Pudding Soufflé! I also like the fried chicken.
Catal Restaurant in the Downtown Disney District  - In my opinion this is a hidden gem! The bacon-wrapped figs are fantastic! A great feature of this signature restaurant is they always offer a featured special pasta dish during runDisney Disneyland® race weekends.

I hope this gives you a start, Tami! Enjoy the 10th anniversary of the Disneyland® Half Marathon weekend!
