My sister purchased 6 tix for DW right before the pandemic shut borders down and we are finally able to use the tickets. She is gifting 2 tickets to my husband and myself. Can we link our 2 tickets to our disney experience app and she link her 4 to hers?

    Hi Stacey! Welcome to planDisney!

I’m excited about your upcoming family vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort! Being able to share these experiences with loved ones and create lasting memories is what makes these visits so magical. With you having to travel internationally, your journey back to the Most Magical Place on Earth has been more difficult than it has for others. I’m just happy you’ll be arriving in plenty of time to be a part of the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration! There are countless new experiences, dining, and entertainment to partake in!

Stacey, you have a very generous sister! A thank you Dole Whip or two is in order when you arrive! It's great that she is finally able to put her tickets to use. To answer your question, you can absolutely link the two tickets given to you on your My Disney Experience account and the rest to her account. To do so, you will need the ID number that should be below the bar code on the back of the ticket. Log on to your My Disney Experience account and select “My Plans” and then “Park Tickets”. You will then click on “Link Tickets” and enter the ID number from the ticket. Once it is linked, you can select the Guest from your My Disney Experience account to associate with this ticket. If you do not have a physical ticket, your sister may have an email confirmation that has the ticket ID numbers listed.

If you are still having trouble or unable to locate an ID number, give the Existing Ticket line a call and speak to a Cast Member for assistance. The Cast Member will be more than happy to provide you with the information needed to link your tickets. Also, you can try the Website Support line if the problem you are having is technical.

One additional item to note is that once you link your tickets to your account, you will need to make theme park reservations on the dates you plan to visit each park. This is something new that was introduced when the parks reopened in July 2020. I would make these reservations as soon as you can since availability is constantly changing.

Stacey, I hope you and your family have an amazing summer getaway! Stop by anytime to planDisney for any planning questions!

    See ya real soon!
