My sister and I are planning a trip to Disney in 2016 with our two best friends and since we are all gong to be 21 or older I was hoping to do something special for our birthdays and our friends first time at Disney, but I could use a few ideas.

    Hello Felicia!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It sounds like you are going to have a blast with your sister and your friends. Celebrating special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort is so much fun!

There are many ways to celebrate, but I do have a few favorite ideas. I love getting a little dressed up and heading to California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort for dinner. They have a fabulous menu and a gorgeous view of Wishes nighttime spectacular fireworks show. You could plan for a full meal or simply go for drinks and desserts. It's a wonderful time either way!

When I recently visited Epcot during a weekend with my sisters and mom, we had a great time eating and drinking around the World Showcase. The best part was trying different types of food and drinks without needing a reservation. My favorite treat is the Blood Orange Margarita from La Cava del Tequila in Mexico Pavilion. Epcot at night is just beautiful. We loved it.

Finally, you can't go wrong with a night on Disney's BoardWalk. With several restaurants to choose from and the fun atmosphere of the piano bar at Jellyrolls, you'll have a great time!

For even more extras, check out these ideas for customizing your celebration on the Disney World Resort website with information about how you can order a cake or even design your own T-shirts.

If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask. Wishing you an early Happy Birthday as you plan your magical trip!
