    Me and my sister are planning to run the Princess 1/2 next year and my family has decided to make it our vacation time. How early should we book rooms(AOA) and how busy does it get that weekend?

    Congratulations on your decision to participate in the 2015 Disney Princess Half Marathon- it's sure to be an enchanting experience for you and your sister!

    Travel packages through runDisney will open in July with race registration and will be the best time for you to begin booking your stay at Disney's Art of Animation Resort.

    Crowds for this weekend are estimated to be in the low/mid range, so very manageable. Having participated in several Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekends myself, I can tell you this is a great time of year to vacation as a family!

    I also want to recommend signing up for runDisney Email Notifications. This is a free service and will keep you up to date on race registration and race details. With the popularity of runDisney events growing each day and races selling out in record time, I wouldn't want you to miss out on the opportunity to get registered.
