My sister and I are planning a 4-day girls trip this fall. I've visited WDW many times, but this is her first Disney vacation. I addition to Food & Wine festival, what are your can't-miss experiences for an adult's first visit?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jessica!

One of the reasons that I keep coming back to the Walt Disney World Resort year after yEAR is that it truly is Magical for all ages. I'm so excited to hear that you're taking a girls' trip this fall- how fun! While I do visit as a Mom with my kids, my husband and I also love long weekends for adult time in the parks and at our favorite Disney Resort Hotels

Since your sister will be taking her first trip, the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is a great place to start. My first recommendation beyond that would be about Fireworks & Nighttime Spectaculars. In my opinion, the Happily Ever After fireworks at Magic Kingdom Park is quintessentially Disney and not to be missed. If it's in your budget, consider indulging in a dessert party with a prime viewing area for this show. My family and I splurged for our first dessert party last year and loved it! For the Happily Ever After show, there are a few options to choose: the Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing, the Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace, and the Magic Kingdom After-Fireworks Dessert Party

My second recommendation would be time spent in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in Disney's Hollywood Studios. If you haven't yet experienced Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, I can't recommend this attraction enough. It is a feat of Imagineering and I was blown away! I would also drop by Oga's Cantina. This highly themed bar, with specialty drinks, has an environment that might just have you wondering when you arrived on Batuu. Advanced reservations are highly recommended.

Another highly themed attraction that is on my must-do list for every first time visitor is Avatar Flight of Passage. Where else but at Disney's Animal Kingdom can you take flight on a banshee? If you can schedule your Fastpass+ for the evening, Pandora- The World of Avatar really comes alive when the sun goes down.

Jessica, I could go on and on, but I'll leave it with these few to start. Come on back and see us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions you might have. Wishing you and your sister an unforgettable vacation,
