My sister, neice and I are coming to Disney for the first time and my sister is renting an electric scooter. Can the shuttle busses that take you to the park accomodate the scooter?

Absolutely, most of the buses can transport an electric scooter.  The buses are equipped with wheelchair lifts, where the bus lowers a hydraulic ramp that allows the electric scooter to drive aboard.  The buses can be identified by looking for the blue emblem on the windshield and the rear door of the bus.  The bus driver will park the bus at the stop and allow the scooter on.  Once the wheel chair or the EVC has been secured, the rest will load.  Have a great trip!!!
