My sister, mother, and I will be taking our children ages 4,5,8, and 12 for our first trip to Disney Oct 23-28. We are staying at POP. What advice do you have to make this trip as memorable as possible? Where is the best place to meet the princesses?

    Hi, Heather!

Woo hoo! It's your FIRST family trip to Walt Disney World AND it's a three-generation trip; how magical!

The latest and greatest place for your family to meet the Princesses is at Magic Kingdom's Princess Fairytale Hall; it just opened on September 18th! You'll find lots of information about this beautiful new venue in a Disney Parks Blog post entitled Princess Fairytale Hall Opens in New Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom. Check it out!

Other opportunities to meet additional Princesses are detailed in this link for Magic Kingdom Character Experiences. Of course, other meetings are located at Epcot's World Showcase, so check out these Epcot Character Greetings for more information. If Pocahontas is a favorite, head over to Camp Minnie-Mickey at Disney's Animal Kingdom. (She's my favorite.)

Of course, our all-time favorite way to meet multiple Princesses while dining is at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, at Epcot's Norway Pavilion. While we love dining with Princesses at Magic Kingdom's Cinderella's Royal Table, it's often much easier to secure a reservation at Akershus.

Best wishes for a magical first family trip to WDW, Heather! Be sure to send more questions as you think of them; we love to help!
