My sister is 65, living in upstate NY and is physically and mentally disabled. She lives in a group home. We want to send her, a friend and a staff specialist for three days at Disney parks in Florida. Is there someone I can work with to get this booked?

    Hi Thomas!

Your plan to send your sister, a friend, and a staff specialist on an adventure to the Walt Disney World Resort is heartwarming! As someone who's walked the group home path (and shares the love for upstate NY), this question truly tugged at my heartstrings. Picturing your sister immersed in all the magic is such an incredibly beautiful vision!

Now, let's sprinkle some pixie dust on the planning process. One way to get that vacation planning started, is to contact the Walt Disney World Resort reservation line. A friendly Cast Member can help secure a room at one of the enchanting Disney Resorts Collection hotels. Don't forget to mention your sister's unique needs, ensuring they find an accessible room.

For an extra dash of magic, consider reaching out to a licensed travel agency that specializes in Disney dreams. The assigned travel agent should take the time to understand your sister's one-of-a-kind situation, guiding you to the best resorts, assisting with tickets, orchestrating delightful dining experiences, and even planning her park adventures with disabilities in mind.

I hope this little sprinkle of guidance gets your planning wand waving! Feel free to come back and visit planDisney again if you have more questions. Here's to your sister having the most enchanting and magical time at the Disney parks!
