If my sister who lives in Florida buys my 3 kids a Florida resident ticket, can she verify it online or do we still need to be with her on the day we go to the park?

    Hi friend,

Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question about tickets for your Walt Disney World vacation later this month.

Florida Resident Tickets are available for the exclusive use of residents of the state who can provide proof of residency. Each person over the age of 18 must provide documentation such as a Florida drivers license, a state-issued ID or a Florida-based military ID. This usually can be done online, though additional verification may be required on first use.

Guests under the age of 18 using one of these tickets must be accompanied by a Florida-resident adult who can verify their residency.

I'm not sure how old your children are, but before you arrive, you may want to check out all the exciting extras in store during Cool KIDS' SUMMER at all four theme parks and across the resorts.

Thanks for stopping with your question. Please check in with us any time for info, recommendations and suggestions to make your visit even more magical.

    Enjoy,

    Wilma
