My sister in law is not a US citizen and doesn’t have her green card yet and does not have a California I.D only a passport from the Philippines but she is a California resident. What can she bring to prove she can enter the parks this June?

    Hey there, Fionna!

Thanks for popping in to see us at planDisney! Thanks, too, for your question.

As you know, the Disneyland Resort theme parks can only be visited by California residents at this time. California residents who want to visit Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park will want to be sure to bring proof of their California residency.

If your sister-in-law does not have a California-issued photo ID with a California residential address, then perhaps she can bring some other document that shows her name (matching the name on her photo identification) and also shows her California residential address. Examples could include a bank statement, utility bill, or rental agreement.

Fionna, you'll also want to be sure to check the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar before you purchase theme park tickets. This will help you quickly see which theme parks have reservations available for the dates you wish to visit. You can then purchase your tickets and then make reservations through the Theme Park Reservations system

Be sure to check out the latest "Know Before You Go" updates to help you plan for a magical time in the theme parks.

I also invite you to stay up to date by following the planDisney Panelists as we share suggestions and answer popular questions on social media

Fionna, enjoy your visit to Disneyland Resort.

Here's wishing you lots of extra Disney magic in your day!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
