Hi Suzanne,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so glad that you stopped by with a question for us. I'm sure you are looking forward to your upcoming
Walt Disney World Resort vacation and are anxious to get all of your plans in place!
Even if your sister in law made your reservation, I would think that your name would be listed under your
Disney Resort Hotel reservation which means you should be able to link it to your
My Disney Experience account. Has she already linked the reservation to her account? If so, then that might be the problem. And did she already order your
MagicBands for you? If she did, then that means that she does have your reservation linked to her account. So you would probably need to call the
technical support line to have them help you get it linked to your own account. First, I would make sure that she does have your name listed on the reservation though. Once you get that all cleared up, you can send a request to connect with your sister in law and any other family members traveling with you so that you can all share plans on your My Disney Experience account. Just scroll down to
Add a Guest under the
My Family & Friends List and you can send a request to connect with her. It's a great way to share your plans with each other!
I hope you can get everything worked out but if you need our help with anything else, just let us know. We're always happy to help. Have a magical day!
~Carrie
