Greetings Jennipher!
I am so excited to hear that you will be booking a character breakfast.
Dinning with some of your favorite Disney pals is a great vacation experience that is sure to create lifelong memories for you and your family. I am a huge fan of
Tusker House Restaurant over in
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. This breakfast offers traditional staples like Mickey & Simba Waffles and unique offerings to try too. My favorite part is seeing Donald Duck and his pals in their safari gear. They look amazing!
I do want to mention that you do not need to be connected to a hotel or ticket confirmation to make a reservation, but it will make planning easier. The first thing you will need to do to link with your sister-in-law's plans is create a
My Disney Experience account if you have not already done so. Then you and your sister-in-law will need to connect your accounts. You can do this by selecting "My Friends and Family". You will click the "Add a Guest" option and import the reservation number for your upcoming trip. This should link you to your entire travel party. I recommend that each adult in your group makes an account and follows the previous steps. This will enable each of you to be able to view tickets, itineraries, and use the super convenient
My Disney Experience Mobile app.
You can make your character dining reservation 60 days in advance of the reservation date. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Collection hotel you can book 60 days from check-in plus 9 days out. An example of this would be if February 1st was your 60-day mark, you would be able to book reservations through February 10th. I recommend doing this as soon as possible. Character dining experiences are incredibly popular and book up quickly. You can make these reservations online through My Disney Experience, on the My Disney Experience Mobile app, or by phone for larger parties. Once you have made the reservation it will automatically appear on your account and the accounts of any linked parties on My Disney Experience if you booked the reservation through the app or website. If you made the reservation by phone call you will be able to link it to all accounts by entering the confirmation number under "Dining" in My Disney Experience. Simply click the blue Dining icon and select "Link a Reservation".
I hope that you all have a magical time together. Say hi to Mickey and the gang for me!
We'll see you real soon!
Tammy
