Hello, my sister and I are heading to dw in October. We were looking for maybe going to mickeys not so scary Halloween for the two of us, 33 year olds. Would I have to buy a entry ticket and then get the ticket for the Halloween thing?

    Hi Cimarron!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It sounds like you are planning a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation and I'm so happy to help you get ready for your trip. You will be visiting Magic Kingdom during one of my favorite times of the year! I love the autumn decorations that are currently up in the theme parks and the special tricks and treats you will be able to enjoy during your trip.

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is an amazing special event that takes place in Magic Kingdom on select nights this fall. On party nights, Magic Kingdom closes at 6:00 p.m. to host the party, which begins at 7:00 p.m. As a specially ticketed event, Guests need a ticket to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in order to enjoy the evening's festivities. Guests with a standard theme park ticket will be able to enjoy Magic Kingdom from the theme park's opening until 6:00 p.m., when the park closes for the party.

If you are only enjoying Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, you do not need to purchase both standard theme park tickets and party tickets as your ticket to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party serves as your theme park admission during party hours. However, if you would like to enjoy Magic Kingdom all day, then you will need a standard theme park ticket for the morning and early afternoon and a party ticket for nighttime fun.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions as you continue counting down sleeps until your trip! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
