    My sister an I are heading to Disney in August, with the QS dining plan - we have now decided that we want to eat at TS restaurants - is there any way can we upgrade to the Standard Dining Plan before our trip? Thanks!

    Hello Becky!  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I am so happy to hear you are considering upgrading to the standard Dining Plan.  I think it is the plan where you get the most value and actually can save a lot of money.  It is the dining plan we choose when we vacation at Walt Disney World.  I love having everything paid for ahead of time, it makes for such a relaxing vacation. 

    You are absolutely able to upgrade your vacation package to include the standard Disney Dining Plan.  Simply call the reservation hotline and select the option to modify an existing reservation.  From there the Cast Member will be able to assist you.  When you call, I suggest knowing where you want to eat and making the table service reservations at that time.  Disney Dining reservations open up 180 days in advance and places do fill up quickly. 

    If you have't already, I suggest looking into dining at 'Ohana for dinner.  It is absolutely my favorite place, we actually eat there twice while on vacation.  'Ohana is located on the second floor of Disney's Polynesian Resort and serves up all-you-care-to-enjoy chicken, pork, steak and shrimp cooked in the middle of the restaurant on a wood fire grill.  

    You should have no problems upgrading your Walt Disney World vacation package.  If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
