Hi there, Agustina!
Welcome to
planDisney - thanks so much for stopping by with your question about the
Park Pass Reservation system. This is truly a magical time to visit
Walt Disney World Resort - the 50th Anniversary Celebration is in full swing with amazing new attractions, exciting entertainment, delicious special food offerings, and so much more. Your sister is bound to have a magical vacation!
Park Pass Reservations are limited, but the good news is that availability does change from time to time. If there is not currently availability for the Theme Park your sister wants to reserve for a specific date, but she knows she will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort on that date, I have two suggestions. The first step for both is to make a Park Pass Reservation at a different available park. This ensures that she will still be able to experience some magic on that day. She can always check back periodically to see if availability has changed, and can cancel the existing "back-up" reservation and make a new one for the park she really wants to visit. Sometimes, there is even a
Modify option in the
My Disney Experience Plans area that she can use on an existing Park Pass Reservation.
The other option would be to add the
Park Hopper Option to her ticket for that day. She would start the day at the park she has the reservation for, but then can hop to other parks after 2 p.m. that day! Park Hopping availability is technically dependent on capacity, but Disney plans ahead. Just because a park doesn't have available Park Pass Reservations doesn't mean that you can't park hop to it in the afternoon. While I've heard of a few extra busy days causing a park to reach capacity, this is relatively rare and shouldn't be an issue.
I hope this information helps her plan this upcoming vacation!
Please let me know if there are any other questions I can assist with.
