Hi Brittany! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
September is a great time of year to be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. It has been my experience that crowds are typically more manageable since school is back in session. The weather is usually very warm and because of good weather, we like to take advantage of our resort hotel pool or chill out at
Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park. One of my favorite events
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party begins in mid September, so if your stay overlaps when this fun even starts, maybe you will consider checking this out! Even if you are unable to experience the party, another great thing to do is head to the
Downtown Disney Area. With plenty of restaurants, shops, and entertainment, there is sure to be something to excite everyone.
Although I may be a bit partial, I think adding an additional day onto your existing two days worth of tickets is a fantastic idea. The great thing about the tickets is that the more days you buy the cheaper per day the tickets are. Therefore, you will want to add your additional day onto your existing package. This can be done by calling the Walt Disney World Resort Reservation line if you are staying on resort property, and it also can be done by visiting any Guest Relations window at any of the four theme parks or at Downtown Disney.
I hope you and your family has a fun family vacation!
