    My sister and I are going to Grand Floridian October 2015 for her retirement vacation. We have ordered the magic bands. How long does it take to get the bands after they have been ordered?

    Hello, Pamela!

    Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is the perfect resort to celebrate a retirement! I am certain that you and your sister will have a grand time taking in all the resort has to offer! I highly suggest planning a day at Senses Spa or a celebratory dinner at Victoria & Albert's.  

    In my experience, you can expect your MagicBands to arrive about three weeks prior to your arrival. Once you have completed the customization process via your My Disney Experience account, you will receive notification that your package has shipped.  

    Be sure to note the retirement celebration on both your resort and  dining reservations. We have found that Cast Members love to share in our personal triumph celebrations. Plus, you never know when your sister might get sprinkled with an extra dose of pixie dust!
