Hello, my sister gifted my two sons tickets for Disneyland. The tickets we’re supposed to be valid throughout the 2020 year but due to COVID we were unable to attend as the pack closed for most of the year. How can I redeem my tickets for 2021?

    Hi Cristina! Welcome to planDisney.

What a wonderful gift from your sister! I have received some generous magical gifts over the years, and it's the best feeling to be showered with pixie dust. And it looks like you're going to visit in just a few short days. So much to be grateful for!

When the Disneyland Resort closed, many Guests had tickets with expiration dates for 2020 and watched unhappily as the time ticked by (are you picturing Princess Anna right now?). With the phased reopening of the Disneyland Resort, many of those 2020 expiration dates were extended, and the Theme Park Tickets & Reservations webpage has a super handy list. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and check out the bulleted list under Modifications & Cancellations.

If your ticket type doesn't match any on the list, or if you're not sure which ticket you hold, your best bet is to call a friendly Cast Member on the Ticketing line at (714) 781-4636. With so many guests planning their Return to a Land of Magic, you may experience longer-than-usual wait times, but please hang in there. Once you determine your new expiration date, please don't forget to make your Theme Park Reservations for your theme park days - all Guests must have reservations in order to enter the theme parks. Additionally, since I see you're planning to visit on June 14, 2021, please be sure that all Guests age 18 and older who attend with your sons bring their proof of California residency.

Do your sons love Marvel as much as my son? If so, you won't want to miss the brand-new Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park. Check out the Disney Parks Blog for lots of information about this new land, including experiences, attractions, and fun and tasty treats.

If you think of any further questions as you get ready for your visit, please come back and see us!

    Wishing you magic and fun,
    Robyn
