Hi Megan, welcome to planDisney! There's no better place than the Disneyland Resort to make happy family memories. Let's make sure you're set up for a successful trip.
Now, Megan, I may have some bad news. You mentioned your sister, who purchased the tickets, is a Southern California resident, but it sounds like you may not be. Per the terms listed on the offer page, the
Southern California Resident Ticket is only valid for Guests who live within ZIP codes 90000 to 93599. To prove eligibility for residency, each adult using (not just purchasing) this ticket must show a government-issued photo ID at the entrance gate, like a California Driver's License or California ID. If you don't have proper proof of residency for yourself, you won't be able to use the ticket.
If you can't use the ticket that was purchased, you should be able to apply the amount you paid towards a new theme park ticket, as long as the new ticket’s price is equal to or greater than the original. It would be a good idea to speak with a Cast Member about your options. You can do this by
calling the Tickets line.
I encourage you to check the
Offers & Discounts page on the Disneyland website to see if any other deals may work for you. Otherwise, you should consider purchasing a standard theme park ticket.
If you visit in the second half of March, there will be some exciting things to do and see, like the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. You'll find many delicious menu items, culinary demos, and more from February 28 to April 21, 2025.
Megan, I'm sorry this wasn't the answer you expected. If you have any other questions, please let us know. We at planDisney are always happy to help.
Thanks,
Kriss
