My sister has an existing hotel package with her two children [under 10]. If she adds my child to that reso does it change her package price? Brings room total to 4 -1 adult, 3 kids under 18. My child has own ticket. Thanks.

    Hi August,

Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Glad to hear you are planning a vacation to Walt Disney World Resort. I hope your vacation starts soon!

There are two ways to book a room at a Disney Resort hotel. When you book a room-only reservation, each Guest will need their own Theme Park Tickets. Adding a child to the reservation in general does not result in additional fees, provided the room can accommodate the size of your party.

However, if you book a Magic Your Way Vacation Package, these not only include a stay at a Disney Resort hotel, but also include Theme Park Tickets. All Guests in the room will receive the same benefits, and in this case, the additional charges would be for Theme Park Tickets. If the package also includes a Disney Dining Plan, there will also be a corresponding charge for this. I suggest you talk to a Vacation Planning Specialist at (407) 939-1936 or your travel agent to verify any additional charges.

One last tip: remember to adjust any dining reservations to include any additional Guests, as well as any FastPass+ reservations. Happy planning!
