Hello, My 15 y/o sister has epilepsy, and because of this she takes mult meds. A side effect of those is that she has a very small appetite. Is it possible to order her the child menus at character dining? She eats much less that the average 8 y/o.

    Hi Angela!

Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Visiting Walt Disney World is such a magical experience, I just know you and your sister will have a great time!

For any and all food questions, I love to refer to the Special Dietary Requests information on the Walt Disney World website. Such a great resource for people, those with simple requests like yours as well as complex food allergies.

When you arrive at the character dining, simply explain your sister’s situation to the Cast Member and they would be happy to help choose something of the children’s menu or find some food options for her. I’ve had no problem ordering children’s portions for my kids after they have exceeded the recommended age during our visits, so I’m sure it won’t be a problem.

I hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions as you plan your visit!

    See you real soon!
