Hi, my sister has an emotional support dog and wants to do the cake decorating experience at Amorette’s. Will she be able to bring the dog into the bakery?

    Hiya Patricia!

Welcome back again to planDisney! Amorette's Patisserie Cake Decorating Experience looks so delicious. During your visit, it looks the class will feature an Orange Bird Dome Cake with mandarin orange cream and layers of vanilla chiffon. Yum! I hope to one day experience this with my daughter but then I would be so sad to eat it!

I confirmed with Disability Services and confirmed that service animals are the only animals allowed in Disney Springs and therefore Amorette's Patisserie. According to Walt Disney World, service animals are either a dog or miniature horse that is "trained to do work or perform tasks for, and to assist, an individual with a disability." There are further details about the animal being leashed or harnessed and controlled by the owner.  Disability services confirmed that unfortunately emotional support animals do not fit that definition and will not be allowed to enter.

If you want to speak to someone in Disability Services you can always email them at or call them at 407-560-2547.

I'm sorry that your sister's emotional support dog won't be allowed in but make sure to cheer her pup with a gift from the Happy Hound Kiosk located in Disney Springs. Also, if you are staying on-site don't forget to think about the Best Friends Pet Hotel where her sweet pup can enjoy their trip to Walt Disney World Resort in style!

I hope this helps and if you have any more questions please feel free to let me know!

    Happy Planning!

So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
