My sister and I will be coming to Walt Disney world in February neither of us are vaccinated but I have antibodies from having covid back in March. Are they having a mask mandate down there in Florida or what are the requirements

Hello Carol! I love answering Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning questions, but I’m always a little extra happy to do it for a fellow resident of Pennsylvania! Knowing the health and safety expectations, prior to arriving at the Walt Disney World Resort, is a great way to plan!

At the present time, the Walt Disney World Resort does have some face-covering requirements in place. A Guest must wear a face covering when riding on any Walt Disney World Resort transportation. This includes buses, the Monorail, and the Disney Skyliner. Additionally, face coverings are currently required at all indoor locations, except for when actively eating or drinking while stationary. Masks are currently optional in outdoor locations.

Carol, the most up-to-date health and safety expectations can always be viewed on the Walt Disney World Resort website. I encourage you to check the website regularly as changing conditions can result in changes to face-covering requirements. You will also be able to find all of the measures that the Walt Disney World Resort is doing to keep Guests and Cast Members safe while at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
