My sister & I are coming, next month, for a Sister's wknd. We are staying at Old Key West / Deluxe Studio. Nervous about trying a new resort. Usually stay at Riverside. Concerned about size and age or resort and how nice rooms are.

    Hi Shelley,

Thanks so much for writing to us.  How exciting that you and your sister will enjoy a Walt Disney World vacation together in a few short weeks!  I am a Disney Vacation Club member and have stayed at Disney's Old Key West Resort many times.  It is one of my family's absolutely favorite properties.  First, it is gorgeous and has several incredible pools.  The Sandcastle Pool located near the Hospitality House is an absolutely perfect venue to spend an afternoon.  Olivia's Café is a hidden gem among Disney dining venues and features home-style, Key West-themed specialties.  The rooms at the resort have all been recently refurbished and are very large and well appointed.  In fact, my family often picks Disney's Old Key West Resort because I have two very tall teens and we love our space!  Finally the resort is a quick boat ride from Disney Springs, which is filled with incredible shopping and dining options.  I am quite confident you and your sister will have a magical time together!
