My sister and I are coming to Disney at the beginning of May. I have always wanted to eat at Victoria and Albert's, (expensive!) and she has agreed to go. My question is, with all the emphasis on how romantic it is there, will we feel out of place?

    Hi Jennifer,

Oooooooooooo Victoria and Albert's is out of this world! I had the privilege of dining there with friends last December and we were blown away. There is no doubt in my mind why they have been awarded the prestigious AAA Five Diamond award for 10 years.

The service is impeccable. I'll be honest, this isn't the type of place I dine at all the time so going in I was a little intimidated. I once worked at a facility where we produced fine dining events but I was still a little afraid I'd use the wrong silverware or something else. My mind was quickly put to ease and I felt right at home. The staff was super friendly, answered all of our questions and were very attentive.

The food is amazing. Because they offer a prix fixe menu, the Chef decides the menu and the selections are fabulous! You will be able to try so many wonderful foods that you may not otherwise try during a dining experience.  I tried (and LOVED) so many new things.

I do not think you and your sister will feel out of place at all.  They do emphasize how romantic the atmosphere is in most of the things I've seen online and read in books but I think its also the perfect place for two sisters to come together and celebrate life.

Expensive? Yes - but I am a big believer in you get what you pay for and you won't be disappointed.  It may not be something that you do on every visit, but a trip to Victoria & Albert's is something you'll never forget.

Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
