A Disney Cruise is a magical way to celebrate a milestone birthday!
There are a number of resources for learning about the Disney Cruise Line. And all of them are a fun way to begin exploring all that DCL has to offer!
First, the
DCL website is a great research tool. You'll find information on the ships (Disney Wonder and Disney Magic) as well as ports of call, staterooms, dining and more. The DVD will give you an interactive ship tour! One section in the guide that you may find especially helpful is the "Putting Together Your First Cruise" information. In the Planning Guide, you'll discover how to book, whether to book early, if you should get trip insurance, if you need a Passport and more.
Be sure to get your free
Disney Cruise Vacation Planning Kit. While waiting for your kit to arrive, visit your nearest travel agency and ask for a DCL brochure. You can then start reading right away about your celebration Cruise.
There are a few other places that I use when planning my own cruises with DCL.
1. PassPorter's Disney Cruise Line and Its Ports of Call book
2. Birnbaum Guides Disney Cruise Line book
3. Mousesavers.com for information on discounts
4. the AllearsNet online cruise guide at http://allears.net/cruise/cruise.htm.
Finally, set sail with a
Stateroom Celebration. For my son's 6th birthday, we ordered the Happy Birthday celebration. He was so surprised when we entered our stateroom and it was decorated for his birthday. Oh, and the cake was delicious!
Enjoy discovering all the wonder and magic of the Disney Cruise Line and stop back here if you need further help charting your course!
