My sister and I are bringing our families down the week of 5/28. My niece is autistic and I know that we can visit guest services for assistance. If a pass is issued for her, how many of the group can accompany her in the alternative entrances?

May is a magical time to visit Walt Disney World. The flowers are going to be in full bloom and the parks will look fantastic. You and your family are going to have a wonderful adventure in a few weeks. I am happy to tell you that Walt Disney World is there to assist with making this trip perfect. Disney has made helping guests with disabilities a priority. They have created the Guest Assistance Card (GAC) to aid visitors to the parks with a variety of special needs that may interfere with their abilities to enjoy attractions. It seems that your family may fall within that category. In order to get a GAC contact Guest Relations as soon as possible upon arrival. The helpful cast members at Guest Relations are there to assist and will listen to the special needs requested. While you will not need a note from your doctor it will always help to bring any documentation you might have to assist the cast members. The GAC will allow you and up to five (5) others with you to enter certain attractions using an alternate more accessible entrance to fit your needs. I hope this helps you. Feel free to ask me anything else that can enhance your magical vacation. See you at the parks.
