My sis & I are considering registering as a team for Everest Challenge! I'm not sure if the team approach will work for us, though- I do run/walk intervals, and she's a straight runner. Can we run as a team if we don't stay together? How will that work

    Hi Kelli!

Well, the Expedition Everest Challenge is a great race!  And while I think it would be fun to run as an individual, I do think it is even more fun when you run as a team!

    Per the rules:
Yes. Team members must start and finish the 5K adventure run together and must also start and finish the scavenger hunt and cross the finish line together. Team trekkers will start in the same wave. Wave assignments will be on the race bib.

So, if you don't think you and your sister can work it out to stay together, then you may want to register as individuals.  Maybe you guys could compromise and do a little less walking for her, but some walking for you?  It really is fun as a team:)

I hope this helps.  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
