    Danielle! Welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for stopping by with this great question about the Single Rider service! My family loves to zip past those stand-by lines on popular park attractions, so we can experience more on our visit to Disneyland. I love where your head is at, and I'm so honored to be a part of helping you plan a day maximizing the magic!

First, let's chat through what the Single Rider service is! The Single Rider service is a separate line on select attractions for Guests at least 7-years old that usually moves much faster than the standard stand-by line. Single Riders fill up empty seats that aren't occupied by parties in the stand-by line. To take advantage of the Single Rider service, I recommend asking the friendly Cast Member at the front of the attraction if there is a Single Rider option and, if there is, they can direct you to the designated queue. It's good to know, Danielle, that immediate boarding or choice of seat is not guaranteed and special seating requests may not be accommodated.

My young boys were initially a little nervous about the possibility of not sitting next to my husband or I on an attraction when they first turned 7-years old, but after we experienced the ride once all together, and decided on a meet-up spot at the attraction's exit, they were thrilled with the idea of not waiting as long to ride it again!

Danielle, I hope you have a visit coming up and will be able to experience Disneyland's 70th Celebration! Disney went all out on this party of the decade! You won't want to miss The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade packed with so many Disney pals, including ShellieMay and Duffy! This sweet, pure-Disney "mini parade" is one of my favorite entertainment offerings happening right now to "Celebrate Happy" for the 70th - it's so joyful. Check the Entertainment Schedule or the Disneyland app for showtimes on the day of your visit.

As you continue to prepare for your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth, Danielle, don't hesitate to come back and ask me another question! I'd love to share more of my tips and recommendations for a truly magical time in Disneyland!

Above all, from the bottom of my heart, I wish you the most magical visit, Danielle!

Meet the Panelist: McCayla, Washington

Hello from the Pacific Northwest! I'm McCayla, a wife and mom dreaming of adventure in the great wide somewhere, yet also completely content watching Toy Story from the couch. My love of Disneyland began as a little girl on Peter Pan's Flight and only grows with each visit. But even when I'm not physically at the Happiest Place on Earth, I truly feel that same joy when I can help others (YOU!) experience the magic of Disneyland Resort too.
