Hiya Chris!
Welcome to planDisney! I had a chance to use the
Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass on my recent trip and found it so helpful in reducing wait times. When you purchase your Lightning Lane Single Pass you should have had a chance to select your time slot. Chris, if time slots are available, you can still modify your Lightning Single Pass and change it if you like. However, once you use that Single Pass on the day you select, you don't have the option to make another unless you pay for a pass for another eligible Lightning Lane Single Pass attraction. Once you use it then the Single Pass is redeemed and done for the day. However, the Lightning Lane Multi Pass allows you to visit multiple attractions during your day. You pre-select three and then once you use one on the day of your trip you can then book another. You are then able to keep booking all day as after you use one you can then make another Lightning Lane reservation. It must be noted that there are limited Lightning Lane time slot availabilities for the attractions and some popular ones run out! This is why you should prioritize booking Lightning Lane reservations on the Multi Pass for popular attractions. I highly recommend prioritizing Peter Pan's Flight, Tiana's Bayou Adventure,
Slinky Dog Dash, and Frozen Ever After.
I'm sorry if this is confusing but the Lightning Lane Single Pass and the Lightning Lane Multi Pass are two different products and have slightly different rules. I hope that this was helpful and that during your time in the Parks, you make good use of them! During my last trip, I had a Lightning Lane Single Pass for
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train but the attraction was not working for the majority of the day. My Single Pass time slot came and went but was replaced with a generic pass that I could use at any time that day. Eventually, the attraction opened up and I was able to use the Single Pass which I paid for. However, if you find yourself in a similar predicament and you know you have to leave the Park without having redeemed it I would speak to the Cast Members with the Guest Experience Team. They are located under the blue umbrellas throughout the Parks and help figure out these issues all day long.
Have a magical time!
Happy Planning!
