I am a single parent taking my 4 boys on a Disney cruise. Do I need any kind of documentation from their father saying it's okay to take them on the cruise? We are cruising to the Bahamas and the Disney private island. (Castaway Cay)

Hello, Jordana! Thanks for heading to planDisney with your question. I'd be happy to help you feel shipshape and ready to sail with your boys!

You are in for a fabulous time with your sailing crew. And what a crew you have! There will be all sorts of fun activities to take part in, whether swimming, watching a movie, greeting Disney Characters, participating in Crew Member-led games and trivia, or being entertained by an evening show. The cruise will be packed with adventure!

I'm happy to share that since you are the parent or legal guardian of the children you are sailing with, no further documentation is needed on Disney Cruise Line's end. You just need to make sure you bring passports or the appropriate travel documentation to check in for your cruise. Please carefully look over the appropriate forms of identification on the Travel Documentation of the Disney Cruise Line website, so that you are prepared for embarkation day!

While your boys are making their own memories in dedicated youth spaces onboard, I hope you find the time to relax and pamper yourself. Look for the adult-exclusive pool area with plush lounge chairs to sit back and take in the sounds of the ocean. You deserve some time for yourself!

Enjoy your Disney Cruise, and please sail our way again the next time you have a question. We'll be here for you!

    Bon Voyage,

    Adrianna
