I am a single parent and I have nobody to come to Disney with me and my children. My kids are young, 6 and 8 years old. Are all of the rides designed for 3 people to ride? I am not sure if I can let the 8 year old sit on his own.

    Sheri,

You and your kids are going to have such an amazing time. You will be thrilled to know that many or almost all of the rides can fit one adult and two kids either in one seat or right next to each other. For example, in a "Doom Buggy" at Haunted Mansion, you would all fit together in one seat, but on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, you would probably have to sit directly behind your kids as the roller coaster seats are meant for two people. On certain rides like Space Mountain and Test Track, there are groups of three seats together. The only one I can think of that would be a little different  would be on Toy Story Mania or Buzz Lightyears Space Ranger Spin. You could probably fit three people in one seat, but there are only two controllers to work the interactive game. Just about the only one I can personally think of that would be an issue would be Tomorrowland Speedway where you "drive" a car. I am pretty sure only two people can fit in and the cars are separated once you start!

I hope this helps you plan.
