Hiya Taline!
Visiting the Disneyland Resort is a magical experience. But I understand it can be challenging as a single parent. When I took each of my older children individually for what we called a “Day at Disneyland with Daddy,” we had a marvelous time. When it was my youngest child’s turn, I felt like I needed to enlist help from another adult. So I’m very impressed with your fortitude to give your children this precious experience with you. In more ways than you know, you are enough.
In your case, you should be just fine. It is necessary for
children under 14 to be accompanied by another Guest age 14 or over in order to enter a Disneyland Resort theme park. Children under age seven must be accompanied by a Guest age 14 or older in order to board an attraction. According to the
Disneyland Resort rules, Guests age seven or older are permitted to board attractions even if they are not directly accompanied by an adult or other companion 14 years or older. If both you and your seven-year-old are comfortable with them experiencing an attraction solo, then the Cast Members will be able to accommodate that.
Tony’s Tip: I love taking our children to the Disneyland Resort. But let’s be honest. Sometimes waiting in lines can be a little challenging, right? One of the greatest resources I have found for keeping our little ones engaged while patiently waiting for an attraction or show is the
Play Disney Parks mobile app. This free app includes games, trivia, and other activities to bring even more magic to your visit to the Disneyland Resort.
I hope you and your little Mouseketeers have a marvelous time making memories at The Happiest Place on Earth. If you have any more questions about visiting the Disneyland Resort, please stop by again.
See ya real soon, Taline!
