I am a single mother of three year old twins. I am considering a vacation to Disney world alone with them for a week. What advice for preparing myself and them do you have? What rides should I plan on skipping upfront due to seating? HELP!

    Hi Laura!

Navigating the parks with little ones in tow can seem like a difficult task, but is totally possible!  Planning and patience will take you a long way in your endeavor!

    1.  Use a double stroller.  Yes, I know they're 3 and walking, but the stroller is a great way to keep them together without expending too much energy on your part!  We always have snacks and lots of things for ours to do while in the stroller to keep them entertained.  Also, make sure you provide times for them to 'run free' and explore as well.

    2.  Try to stick as closely as possible to their schedule.  If they're particular about their nap, then by golly, make sure you're back at your resort in time for nap.  Also, keeping them on their meal schedule is also very important.

    3.  Pack plenty of snacks!  Snacks alone can usually tame the 'cranky beast' if it decides to rear its ugly head.

    4.  You should be fine sitting 3 across with your twins.  I often sit with my two boys on most rides that don't have a height requirement (and they're 7 and 5) and don't have any issues.

    5.  Research and make a plan.  Know where you're going and what you're doing each day.  Plan you day around meals/naps.  Order a Walt Disney World Vacation Planning DVD to help get yourself acquainted with the parks.

    6.  Come back and visit us if you have any other questions!

    7.  Have a magical vacation!
