A very warm welcome to planDisney, Claudianie! I hope I can help make your boy's birthday wish come true. After all, Walt Disney World is all about magic.
Disney on a budget is definitely achievable. First, please visit the
Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page of the Walt Disney World website frequently. Even if nothing currently suits you, please check back again. If a discount becomes available before your stay, you can always apply it to your already-planned reservation or vacation package.
Second, accomadation. For us, staying at a
Disney Resort hotel is part of the magic. You could have so much fun at the Resort, that you may only need a single day of Park Tickets and spend the rest of your time immersed in the recreational activities available. Who doesn't love toasting marshmallows over the campfire?
Disney's All-Star Movies Resort offers larger-than-life theming celebrating some of Disney's most beloved movies at a great price. You may also like to check out Official Disney Partner Hotels.
Third, food. Many Quick Service dining options offer delicious food without spending too much money in the Parks. We like to bring some snacks with us and a refillable water bottle. You could also enjoy a simple breakfast in the room before heading to the parks - a double bonus of keeping to a budget and giving you more time for fun.
Disney's Genie Service is free, helping you to create your best Disney day inspired by your top interests. Essentially, it helps make the most of your time in the Parks. You can easily access your tickets through
My Disney Experience and do not need to make any additional purchases other than your tickets to enter the Parks.
Please help your son to pick up a complimentary birthday celebration button from
Guest Services at Disney Resort hotels or Cast Members at various retail locations. Cast Members are talented spotters and fantastic at recognizing special celebrations; I can promise many warm birthday greetings and who knows what other pixie dust.
Claudianie, I hope these tips help you and your son get to Walt Disney World. It's such a magical place to celebrate, and please pass on my warmest birthday wishes to your son! Blue skies and sunshine, Louise
