I am a single mother of 2 girls-18 mo., and 6 y/o. I want to take them on the Disney Dream next year but I want to plan for when the weather will be at its best - no hurricane, no steamy hot weather, but no cold. But best time for my money also. Thoughts?

    Hi Deanna,

Oh how I wish we could predict the weather - It would make these decisions so much easier!  Based on the guidelines you gave, I would suggest cruising in May or early June.  Although technically hurricane season begins in in June, this time of year often lends itself to amazing weather in the Bahamas.

Unfortunately, the best deals will be found either during the peak of hurricane season, or the winter months.  I suggest May simply because many of the U.S. children have yet to start their summer vacations so the rates and crowds may be a bit better.

    I hope this helps!
