I am a single mom with a 7 year old son and am trying to plan our next vacation. I've taken him to Disney several times and had a great time but thought about a cruise. What are your thoughts of cruising as a single parent? We both love Disney.

    Hi Lori,

I think after tackling Walt Disney World single-mom style, a Disney Cruise will feel like heaven!  Simply imagine all of the magic, fun and excitement of a WDW vacation - and take out the stress of dining choices, park navigation and transportation schedules.

What I LOVE about Disney Cruise Line is having everything within a few minutes from the comfort and peace of your stateroom.  No bus routes to figure out, no park maps to read - it's vacation simplified!  Not to mention the fantastic kids programming in the Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab - once your son experiences the activities, you may find yourself with some extra time on your hands to enjoy the spa or a quiet moment in the Cove Cafe

There will still be plenty of family entertainment for you to enjoy together - and Castaway Cay is the highlight of any Disney Cruise.

I hope this helps - good luck with your decision!
