I am a single mom visiting Disney with my 16 year old son. I am looking at the hotel choices in the park, Is there a hotel that teens enjoy and any must see attractions for this age. I don't want him to be bored with just mom!

    Hi Randi,

My teens enjoy Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts because of Stormalong Bay, the wonderful 3 acre swimming pool. These Resorts are also located near the Boardwalk area, which has the ESPN Club (great fun if your son is a sports fan). In addition, this area is near Hollywood Studios, which tends to be a favorite Park for teens. My teens also like staying on the monorail. I'd show him the Contemporary Resort and the Polynesian  to see if either of those appeal to him.

He will likely enjoy renting the Sea Raycer boats to zip along the waterways. If he likes video games, get him a ticket to DisneyQuest. It offers 5 floors of interactive gaming fun.

Favorite attractions will likely be: Expedition Everest (Animal Kingdom), Rock 'n Rollercoaster and Tower of Terror (Hollywood Studios), Test Track and Mission Space (Epcot), Splash, Space and Thunder Mountains (Magic Kingdom). He may also like the "Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show at Hollywood Studios (my sons think it's very cool).

Hope this helps and have a wonderful vacation,
