I am a single mom and my trip to Disney with my son will be our first vacation alone. I feel like i'm in a panic trying to plan everything and i'm just wondering if you have any tips that might help me feel a little less stressed?

Hello Brianne!  Take a deep breath, you are going to Walt Disney World.  You will have a great time no matter what you end up seeing or doing.

My biggest suggestion is to be realistic.  Walt Disney World is a big place, I always recommend picking your 5-8 must do's at each park and do those first!  That way if you and your son are tired and want to head back to the resort for a swim, you aren't leaving disappointed.  After you do your must do's, you can plan the rest of the day accordingly.

I would love to know how old your son is and if you guys are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort.  If you ask me another question and include those details, I will be able to give you an idea of some fun activities the two of you will enjoy.

    Happy Planning!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
