Single mom traveling with her 13 year old son and elderly mother (with mobility problems) for a magical vacation this April. Any suggestions on how to keep family harmony while allowing each of us to see attractions that interest each of us?

There are so many wonderful things to do and see at Walt Disney World for both the young and the young at heart. I would start at the Magic Kingdom because it's where it all began in Orlando. The whole family can enjoy the classic adventure that is the Jungle Cruise, journeying over the rivers of the world and seeing all sorts of exotic places and animals. My whole family enjoys a visit with Jack Sparrow on the Pirates of the Caribbean and I'm sure yours will also. We also get a big smile watching the Monsters Inc., Laugh Floor. This comedy show is a delight for all ages. If you include all the neat entertainment, including the Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade as well as Wishes-A Nighttime Spectacular fireworks, I am sure that the whole family will have a magical time at the parks.

As a Los Angeles native I basically grew up at Disneyland. It has always been so easy to take my family on the short drive to the Happiest Place on Earth. Watching my daughters make magical memories reminds me why I keep coming back. Learn More About Ari
