I am a single mom traveling to Disney in April 2015 with my 3 young daughters ages 4, 5, and 10 years old. I am a little worried this will be stressful and not much fun. Can you give me any advice on how to make this a memorable experience for my girls?

    Hello Janita,

Your trip with your three lovely princess WILL be a magical and memorable trip. With some planning and help from your daughters you can make this a trip to remember.

First and foremost, sit down with your daughters and explore the Walt Disney World website and get to know each of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks and all they have to offer, including attractions, entertainment and dining. The latest edition of Birnbaum's Walt Disney World for Kids travel book is great for children and better familiarizes them with all the magic of Walt Disney World. Make notes of your princesses interests as you explore the website and book. Your children are your best guides on how to make this trip special for all of you.

Become comfortable with your My Disney Experience  via online at the Walt Disney World website and/or the app. Here you are able to see reservation for your Walt Disney World resort, dining and tickets along with FastPass+ selections and Memory Maker.

Next, be ready for some milestone dates. You are able to make Advance Dining Reservations, for Walt Disney World table service dining, 180 days from the start of your trip and if staying at a Walt Disney World resort, up to 10 days after. Advance Dining Reservations are highly recommended, especially, for most of the Character dining experiences. You can reserve online through your My Disney Experience or by calling (407) WDW-DINE. FastPass+ selections can be done 60 days prior to your stay if staying at Walt Disney World Resort and 30 days for those who are not. FastPass+ allows you to pre-select some of the more popular attractions so you are able to experience them, without standing in the stand-by lines. And visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel, we are here to help and happy to do so, with any of your vacation questions.
