Single mom taking 2 year old with a 5-day park hopper pass, staying 4 nights. I'm feeling a little anxious about doing such a trip on my own. I'm a plus size lady (around 200lbs) and I know I can keep up with her but I'm concerned about fitting in the ride

    Hi Dawn,

You are going to have such a great time with your little princess!  Hopefully, this will be the first of many trips you and your daughter take to Walt Disney World.

I understand your concern, but you can relax.  Many people much larger than 200 pounds travel to Disney World frequently, and they are able to experience every attraction.  Disney does a great job of putting their guests at ease; they seem to understand that we are all different sizes.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
