I am a single mom taking my first ever Disney vacation with my 2 daughters. I will be turning 40 whilst there and looking for ideas of something a little special to do but on a budget.

    Hi Donna!

Congratulations on your upcoming first visit and birthday celebration! What a very special vacation for you and your daughters.  Although I am sure your entire trip will be magical, I do have a couple of ideas which may help add a bit of Pixie Dust.

If your daughters are at least 4-years-old, you could all enjoy some well deserved princess pampering at Senses - A Disney Spa at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.  Children 4-12 have their own manicure and pedicure services available, starting at around $30.  For guests 13 years an older manicure and pedicure services start at around $55.  Another fun experience you could all do together is The Pirates League at the Magic Kingdom.  Empress or Mermaid make-overs await adventurous gals of any age. Where better to become a part of the magic?  There are many other wonderful ideas to Customize your Celebration including: specialty cakes, family portraits, custom gifts and unique dining experiences.

If I can give you any more suggestions or assist you with anything else, please let me know.  Until then, have a wonderful time planning and enjoy your special vacation.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
